The Position
Reporting to the Director of Clinic Operations, the Clinic Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of clinic operations, including team leadership, client experience, and financial performance. This role plays a critical part in ensuring high-quality patient care, driving operational efficiency, and supporting the continued growth of the clinic.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support clinic staff, fostering a positive, team-oriented culture and strong employee engagement
- Oversee day-to-day clinic operations to ensure smooth, efficient delivery of services
- Develop and implement operational plans aligned with organizational goals
- Manage budgets, inventory, and resources while meeting financial targets
- Drive performance through monitoring key metrics and implementing improvement strategies
- Ensure a high standard of patient care and an exceptional client experience
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop staff, including performance management and ongoing feedback
- Promote the clinic’s services and support business development through relationship building
- Handle client concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and care
- Maintain clear communication across the team and with senior leadership
- Implement and refine policies, procedures, and best practices to support quality and consistency
- Lead team meetings and communicate priorities, goals, and performance updates
Qualifications & Experience
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field
- 5+ years of clinical experience
- 5+ years of leadership or management experience in a healthcare or clinic setting
- Strong operational and financial management experience, including budgeting and performance tracking
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, mentor staff, and build a positive workplace culture
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Experience in program development, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Comfortable using digital tools and Microsoft Office
- Bilingualism (French/English) is considered an asset
