Vice President, Enterprise Account Leadership

Redmond, WA (Pacific Time Zone) | Full-Time

Base Salary: $150K–$200K | OTE $250K+

The Right Fit

You are a leader, not a doer. You build strategy and develop people. You talk about how teams win, not just deals you personally closed. You are energized by complex environments, demanding clients, and the challenge of elevating others around you.

About the Role

A large IT services firm, with US-based HQ, is seeking a senior enterprise account leader to own, grow, and lead the team managing one of our most strategically important client relationships. This is a high-visibility leadership role—not an individual contributor position—for someone who thrives at the intersection of complex enterprise accounts and people development.

You will serve as the senior point of accountability for a large, technically sophisticated account. Your team executes day-to-day; your job is to set the strategy, develop the people, and maintain trusted executive relationships that drive sustained growth.

What You'll Do

Lead the Team

•      Directly lead and develop a team of six to eight account managers, ranging from emerging to senior talent

•      Provide daily coaching on client strategy, communication, escalations, and opportunity development

•      Build a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, growth, and client excellence

•      Support ongoing hiring and onboarding as the account expands

Own the Client Relationship

•      Serve as the senior leader for a large, complex enterprise account with multiple stakeholders across procurement, business units, and delivery

•      Build and maintain trusted executive-level relationships with client sponsors and partners

•      Navigate a sophisticated commercial environment involving multiple agreement types—staffing, managed services, and statement-of-work engagements

Drive Strategy and Growth

•      Own the account growth plan and set targets in partnership with senior and executive leadership

•      Identify expansion opportunities across service lines, including staffing, managed services, and consulting

•      Act as the primary liaison between delivery and the client, ensuring quality outcomes and relationship health

What We're Looking For

Must-Have Experience

•      Proven track record owning a large, complex enterprise account with multiple stakeholder groups and decision-makers

•      Direct experience in managed services or professional services—understanding how managed engagements are scoped, staffed, managed, and measured

•      Demonstrated people leadership with a coaching-first mindset—this role is at least 50% leading and developing a sales team

•      Familiarity with at least one technical domain such as data and AI, cloud infrastructure, digital application engineering, or platform engineering

•      Ability to hold executive-level conversations with both client leadership and internal stakeholders

Location

•      Must be based in the Pacific Time Zone (Pacific Northwest, Bay Area, Southern California, or Oregon considered)

•      Expectation of on-site presence with client in Redmond, WA—minimum two times per month for 2-3 days/visit

Compensation & Benefits

•      Uncapped Comp Model: Base + Bonus (Quarterly) + Accelerators (Quarterly and Annual)

•      Base Salary: $150,000–$200,000 depending on experience

•      Quarterly performance bonus tied to revenue and gross profit targets

•      OTE: $250,000 - $300,000 at plan (not considering over attainment)
