Responsibilities:

• Support the administration, maintenance, and operational health of enterprise COTS applications. 
• Monitor, assess, and remediate application vulnerabilities, security findings, and technical debt within established service level agreements (SLAs). 
• Perform application patching, software upgrades, dependency management, and performance tuning. 
• Support application deployments, configuration management, and release activities across multiple environments. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, infrastructure, and performance issues while minimizing operational impact. 
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge articles. 
• Support system monitoring, performance reporting, and dashboard development. 
• Gather system information and technical artifacts to support audits, security reviews, and compliance activities. 
• Work closely with project managers, system stewards, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity personnel, and business stakeholders using Agile methodologies. 
• Document requirements, defects, and enhancements in Jira and support the successful delivery of approved work items.

Experience:

• Hands-on experience administering and supporting Oracle Database environments, including troubleshooting database connectivity and application-related database issues. 
• Strong experience supporting Unix/Solaris operating systems in enterprise production environments. 
• Experience supporting Windows Server environments. 
• Experience supporting Apache Web Server or similar web server technologies. 
• Experience using enterprise monitoring and performance management tools such as Dynatrace and SolarWinds. 
• Strong understanding of application patching, software upgrades, dependency management, and performance tuning. 
• Experience supporting application deployments, configuration management, and production releases. 
• Strong understanding of vulnerability management, security patching, system hardening, and technical debt remediation. 
• Experience working in Agile environments using Jira for work management and tracking. 
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
