Full Stack Developer

We are partnering with a growing technology organization to hire a senior, hands-on developer who enjoys solving complex technical problems, shaping solutions from ambiguous requirements, and building secure, scalable applications.

This is a strong opportunity for a backend-led Full Stack Developer who wants meaningful ownership—not just a queue of narrowly defined tickets. You will join an experienced, collaborative engineering team and contribute across modern Java services, data architecture, secure application workflows, and product delivery.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and enhance production applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Develop and maintain APIs, backend services, integrations, and data-driven features
• Work deeply with MongoDB and relational databases, helping determine the right data model and storage approach for each use case
• Contribute to secure application capabilities involving authentication, authorization, credentials, digital signatures, certificates, or related identity workflows
• Partner with technical and business stakeholders to clarify needs, recommend practical approaches, and turn ideas into deliverable solutions
• Improve application performance, reliability, maintainability, and observability
• Collaborate closely with a long-tenured remote engineering team while bringing fresh ideas and sound technical judgment

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in a senior-level role
• Strong, recent hands-on experience with Java and Spring / Spring Boot
• Meaningful production experience with MongoDB, including data modeling, indexing, query performance, aggregation, schema evolution, or scaling
• Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
• Strong API and backend-development background, including RESTful services and distributed application patterns
• Exposure to application security concepts such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, JWT, RBAC, PKI, encryption, certificates, or digital signatures
• Ability to work through incomplete requirements, ask the right questions, and propose thoughtful technical solutions
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, low-ego working style

Nice to Have

• AWS experience; Azure or GCP experience is also valuable
• Experience in identity, security, fintech, healthcare technology, enterprise SaaS, regulated systems, or data-intensive applications
• Frontend experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks
• Experience with event-driven systems, microservices, cloud-native architecture, or CI/CD automation
