Position Overview:
As a Client Onboarding Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless transition from sales to implementation. Your primary responsibility will be to take charge of the onboarding process after a successful deal closure. From conducting kick-off calls to meticulously managing project timelines, you will be the driving force behind our clients' journey from inception to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Kick-Off Excellence: Initiate and lead comprehensive kick-off calls with clients, setting the stage for a successful onboarding process. Clearly articulate project milestones, expectations, and deliverables.
- Project Management Mastery: Oversee 10-15 client projects simultaneously, ranging from straightforward implementations to those requiring careful coordination due to external dependencies such as circuit orders.
- Client Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for clients during the onboarding phase. Foster strong relationships through effective communication, providing updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring overall client satisfaction.
- Detail-Oriented Execution: Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in project planning, tracking, and reporting. Anticipate potential roadblocks and proactively develop solutions to keep projects on schedule.
- Timely Problem Resolution: Identify and address any issues that may arise during the implementation process promptly. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to find creative solutions and ensure client success.
Qualifications:
- Project Management Expertise: 2+ years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully leading client onboarding initiatives.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities to manage multiple projects concurrently, each with its unique timeline and requirements.
- Client-Focused Approach: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Prior experience in client-facing roles is a plus.
- Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting to evolving client needs and industry changes.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to identify challenges, develop solutions, and drive projects to successful completion.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Technology Proficiency: Experience with Halo PSA, MS Project, or Smartsheets is highly desirable.
- Technical Background: Familiarity with IBM servers and hands-on experience in the managed services industry would be a significant advantage.
