Senior Frontend Developer | Hybrid capacity out of our Pristina office.

We are exclusively partnering with a fast-growing PropTech scale-up based in the Netherlands to find a Senior Frontend Developer. Our client is transitioning their platform fully in-house. They're building a lean, high ownership engineering team and need a strong frontend engineer to lead the way.

The team is small (5 people) but growing, multidisciplinary, and fast-moving. This isn't a role where you blend into the background, you'll own the entire frontend, set the technical standard, and have a direct impact on the product and user experience.

The Role

  • Own the frontend architecture and development (Vue.js)
  • Lead and execute the migration from Vue 2 to Vue 3 (Composition API)
  • Develop scalable, reusable components and maintain codebase quality
  • Set up and uphold a consistent testing strategy
  • Analyze user behavior and translate insights into concrete UX and conversion improvements
  • Collaborate closely with backend developers (PHP) and the product owner to deliver robust solutions

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with Vue.js (Vue 2 and Vue 3), running complex projects independently
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and modern tooling (e.g. Vite or Webpack)
  • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g. Vitest, Jest, or Cypress) and a test-driven mindset
  • Comfortable making independent technical decisions and taking full ownership
  • Languages: Professional English is required.
  • Knowledge of Dutch is considered a significant advantage.

Location: Ability to work in a hybrid capacity out of our Pristina office.

Nice to haves:

  • PHP experience to collaborate seamlessly with the backend team
  • Passion for UI/UX principles and translating design decisions into great user experiences
  • Experience with A/B testing or conversion optimization
  • Experience with Vue migrations or component libraries

What's on offer

  • Full-time position (36–40 hours per week)
  • Up to 2 days remote per week, including a home office allowance
  • MacBook and all necessary tooling provided
  • Competitive Salary
  • A high-autonomy role with real influence over the technical direction
  • A collaborative, no-nonsense team culture where ownership and delivery are valued
