Job Title: Welding Engineer

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Work Arrangement: On-site role that requires around 20% travel annually

You’ll bridge innovation and application, helping customers unlock the full potential of collaborative robotic welding systems. More than programming or production, you’ll be the trusted expert who brings automation to life.


Each day, you’ll combine hands-on problem-solving with creative engineering to ensure our robotic systems deliver exceptional precision, consistency, and quality. You’ll collaborate with sales, R&D, and service to boost performance, enhance customer experience, and shape the next generation of welding automation.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide hands-on technical support, both remotely and on-site.
  • Conduct welding demos and develop real-world robotic welding processes.
  • Document and share best practices through training, manuals, and videos.
  • Partner with sales to validate applications and ensure smooth integration.
  • Relay customer insights into engineering and product development.
  • Attend trade shows, showcasing advanced robotic welding technology.


What You’ll Bring

  • Strong understanding of manual and robotic welding principles.
  • Experience with cobots or industrial robotic systems (Fronius is a plus).
  • Excellent communication and hands-on problem-solving skills.
  • Strong documentation and ticket management skills
  • Willingness to travel domestically for support and training.
  • High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
