Position: Hotel General Manager

Location: Northwest Maryland

Compensation: up to $90,000 + Bonus + Benefits

About the Role:

We’re seeking a Hotel General Manager to lead daily operations and drive overall performance at our hotel in Northwest Maryland. The General Manager will ideally be hands-on, grounded, and someone who can build trust quickly, and lead with integrity. This is a rare opportunity to step into a well-run, fully staffed hotel with a strong culture and dedicated team already in place.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and more
• Lead and develop department heads to ensure high performance, employee engagement, and accountability
• Ensure exceptional guest service standards and resolve any guest-related issues promptly and professionally
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and P&L statements to optimize revenue and control expenses
• Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
• Monitor performance metrics and drive continued success in guest satisfaction, team morale, and profitability
• Uphold and enhance the strong culture of teamwork, honesty, and accountability
• Be a visible leader—present, approachable, and willing to roll up your sleeves when needed

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as a General Manager in a select-service or limited-service hotel, or Assistant GM in a full service, fast paced hotel
• Someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys being actively involved in daily operations
• A collaborative leader who values communication, honesty, and mutual respect
• Strong financial acumen and understanding of hotel performance metrics
• Ability to maintain structure while embracing flexibility when needed
• Familiarity with branded hotel systems (Hilton, Marriott, IHG, Wyndham, etc.) is a plus
