Job Title: Temporary to Permanent Surgical Dental Assistant

Location: Westlake, OH 44145

Schedule: Monday–Thursday

• Surgical days: 1–2 days per week. Start times can be as early as 6:00 AM and shifts may run until approximately 6:00 PM. Surgical schedules are planned well in advance, and staff are aware of these days months ahead of time.
• Non-surgical days: Typically 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM.

Requirements of the Surgical Dental Assistant: 

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, including 10–12 hour shifts on surgical days
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical and clinical environment.

• Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
• Good manual dexterity and ability to work with small instruments.

• Comfortable around blood, surgical procedures, and post-operative patient care.

• Strong work ethic, self-motivated, dependable, and positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
