Manufacturing Technician

Contract Position – 6 Months

North Area, Puerto Rico | Onsite



We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support manufacturing operations within a regulated production environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting equipment setup, maintenance activities, process improvements, troubleshooting, and production support while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.


Key Responsibilities:

• Support manufacturing operations, equipment setup, and production-related activities within the operational area.

• Perform preventive, corrective, and calibration maintenance activities on manufacturing equipment and systems.

• Assist with equipment qualification, validation, and implementation activities to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce downtime.

• Troubleshoot manufacturing and equipment-related issues and support corrective action implementation.

• Monitor operating parameters and perform adjustments to equipment, instruments, or processes as needed.

• Support investigations related to production deviations, out-of-tolerance events, and process anomalies.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Assist in the development, revision, and execution of manufacturing procedures and technical documentation.

• Support evaluation and qualification of tools, fixtures, and equipment required for manufacturing operations.

• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety regulations, QSR, and applicable quality standards.


Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in a technical field such as Instrumentation, Electronics, Mechanical Technology, or related discipline.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing or technical support roles within regulated industries.

• Experience supporting equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, or manufacturing operations.

• Availability to work onsite, different shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.


Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Medical Device or Pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.

• Basic knowledge of PLC systems, sensors, pneumatics, vision systems, and mechanical equipment.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

• Strong problem-solving skills, teamwork orientation, and willingness to learn.


This is a 6-month onsite contract opportunity located in the North area of Puerto Rico.
