Spirits Market Manager – Dallas/Fort Worth

 

Our client is an award-winning craft spirits supplier looking to expand its presence in the Texas market. They are seeking an entrepreneurial, relationship-driven Market Manager to own the Dallas/Fort Worth territory and drive distribution, brand awareness, and account growth across both on- and off-premise channels.

This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to make a direct impact in a developing market. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, thrives in the field, and enjoys building brands from the ground up.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business and secure distribution across on- and off-premise accounts throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, bartenders, buyers, and distributor partners.
  • Execute account visits, tastings, staff trainings, consumer events, and brand activations.
  • Conduct ride-withs and work closely with distributor sales teams to drive placements and depletions.
  • Manage a targeted account list and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Track sales activity, account progress, and market insights using CRM tools.
  • Monitor competitive activity and communicate market feedback to leadership.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of beverage alcohol sales experience, preferably within the spirits industry.
  • Established relationships within the Dallas/Fort Worth market.
  • Proven ability to prospect, open new accounts, and grow existing business.
  • Comfortable working independently with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with distributors is a plus.
  • CRM experience preferred.
  • Passion for craft spirits and brand building.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $70,000–$80,000 base salary
  • Uncapped monthly variable compensation based on total DFW depletions.
  • $20 per 9L case when below monthly goal
  • $50 per 9L case once the monthly goal is exceeded
