We are recruiting for a temporary maternity leave fill for Sales Data Analyst for an amazing wine company in the NYC metro area. This role is filling in for the the Business Planning Manager and provides significant opportunities for learning and professional growth in a collaborative and fun team atmosphere. This company has a fantastic culture and, while this position is not technically temp to hire, there is a lot of opportunity for the right person, and they never let great people leave. This position is hybrid with 3 days a week in the office, a 35-minute train ride from NYC.


Ideal candidates should have relevant experience in reporting, business analysis, and sales planning within the CPG industry, preferably with a background in beverage/alc. Strong proficiency in Excel is essential.

·   Manage/Utilize VIP (iDig/KARMA):

o  Responsible for company’s depletions volume reporting and analysis, driving insights, looking for opportunities that drive growth

o  Support Sales Operation team with sales reporting special projects

o  Data mining to create reports / generate insights from 3rd party software solutions

o  Provide analysis on Karma surveys: gap identification, opportunity finder

o  Onboarding and new employee training into the VIP/Karma environment

  • Provide analysis, insights on potential risks or opportunities and monitor business performance on distribution

·      Manage all volume & distribution tracking for normal course of business, goal tracking, incentive tracking, etc.

-       Partnering with the Sales Leadership team, creates, updates/maintains trackers

·      Ability to provide insights and forecasting for depletions, shipments and inventory requirements

  • Provide ad-hoc analysis of company performance, KPI achievements, scorecards, etc. to Sales Leadership Team and key stakeholders
  • Proactively seek to understand sales team requirements, recommendations and improved tools, reports, etc.

REQUIREMENTS


  • VIP/I-dig / Karma / Vistaar - required

·      Beverage Alcohol Industry Experience - required

·      Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

  • Nielsen/IRI experience a plus
  • Understanding and ability to improve reporting efficiency

·      Excellent organizational/project management skills

·      Good communication skills and written skills


TRAVEL

·       Able to travel occasionally
