About the Client: LinHR's Client, BIL Technology, is the exclusive distributor of DJI products in Canada. Headquartered in Vancouver with an office in Mississauga, the company focuses on the Canadian B2B market and serves customers nationwide. With a team of over 40 employees, we have established long-term partnerships with hundreds of businesses across Canada, including leading retailers such as Best Buy, Costco, London Drugs, and Walmart.


The Role:As a Sales Representative, the role delivers an engaging, knowledgeable, and friendly retail experience – from greeting customers and running live product demonstrations to closing sales and supporting after-sales service. It is a full time, indefinite term position.


Compensation & Locations

  • Pay: $18.50 – $21.00/hr (based on experience) + Commission/Bonus (see Compensation Framework)
  • Available Locations: 8882 170 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5T 4M2


Working Schedule

  • Retail hours – includes evenings/weekends/holidays as required



Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage customers, understand their needs, and recommend appropriate DJI products
  • Conduct in-store product demonstrations (drones, gimbals, cameras, accessories)
  • Meet individual sales targets and contribute to overall store performance
  • Process transactions accurately using the POS system
  • Maintain product displays, demo units, and store cleanliness to brand standard
  • Support inventory tasks: receiving stock, restocking shelves, cycle counts
  • Provide basic technical support and warranty/repair intake guidance
  • Stay current on DJI product knowledge, firmware updates, and promotions
  • Follow all cash handling, security, and loss-prevention procedures
  • Duties may adjust and are not limited to the responsibilities listed and may evolve to meet in-store requirements over time.


What We Are Looking For

Requirements

  • 1+ year of retail or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable learning and demonstrating technical products
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible retail schedule
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Must be of minimum working age per provincial employment standards
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30lbs, and to stand, bend, reach, and move throughout the store for extended periods during a shift (e.g. unpacking stock, restocking shelves, moving demo units.)
  • Must pass a background check as permitted under provincial law

Nice to Have

  • Personal interest or experience with drones, photography, or videography
  • Prior experience with POS and inventory systems
  • Bilingual (English/French/Mandarin), especially for Quebec locations
