Our client is a leading precision oncology company dedicated to advancing cancer diagnosis and treatment through innovative genomic testing technologies. They provide next-generation sequencing (NGS) testing services, companion diagnostics, molecular residual disease (MRD) solutions, and multi-cancer early detection (MCED) technologies to hospitals, research institutions, pharmaceutical companies, and healthcare providers worldwide.

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development & Marketing Specialist to support the client's commercial growth, customer engagement, and brand development initiatives.


Position Summary

The Business Development & Marketing Specialist will play a key role in supporting the marketing, customer engagement, and business development activities. This individual will manage digital marketing channels, coordinate scientific conferences and exhibitions, support lead generation activities, prepare customer quotations, and serve as a point of contact for clinical and research customers.

This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and an interest in biotechnology, genomics, or life sciences.


Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Digital Presence

  • Manage and maintain the LinkedIn and other social media channels.
  • Create and publish marketing content, company announcements, scientific updates, and event promotions.
  • Update and maintain company website content.
  • Coordinate email marketing campaigns and customer newsletters.
  • Track and report marketing campaign performance.

Lead Generation & Business Development

  • Identify and qualify potential customers, partners, and collaborators.
  • Support outbound marketing and lead generation activities.
  • Maintain CRM records and customer databases.
  • Coordinate follow-up activities with prospective customers.
  • Assist in developing marketing materials, presentations, and promotional content.

Conference & Exhibition Management

  • Coordinate participation in scientific conferences, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Manage booth logistics, promotional materials, registrations, and scheduling.
  • Support pre-event and post-event marketing activities.
  • Track conference leads and facilitate follow-up communications.

Customer Support & Commercial Operations

  • Prepare quotations and commercial proposals for customers.
  • Serve as a primary contact for customer inquiries related to research and clinical testing services.
  • Coordinate customer onboarding and sample submission processes.
  • Work closely with laboratory, scientific, and business teams to ensure timely customer support.
  • Maintain records of customer communications and project status.

Administrative & Cross-Functional Support

  • Assist with distributor and partner communications.
  • Support preparation of reports, presentations, and business documentation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of marketing and customer engagement processes.


Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, business development, customer support, sales operations, or a related role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Experience with LinkedIn, website content management, and email marketing platforms.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred

  • Experience in biotechnology, diagnostics, genomics, healthcare, or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Experience coordinating conferences, exhibitions, or scientific events.
  • Understanding of NGS, molecular diagnostics, genomic testing or precision medicine is an asset.

Compensation package

Regular Salary: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
