Senior Business Consultant

This is a contract opportunity. The initial contract position. The total billable days are 35 days.

The contract is expected to run from December 2025 to March 2026.


Scope of Work:

  • Assess integration between crewed AEWC/ISR systems and uncrewed ISR platforms, focusing on interoperability, mission performance, communication standards, sensor fusion, and C2 alignment. Map hardware/software interfaces, network operations, and cybersecurity.
  • Use simulation tools to evaluate detection, response, and survivability.
  • Conduct a technology gap analysis and validate findings through stakeholder interviews and exercise reviews. Document results in a structured, reference-supported report.
  • Conduct initial open-source market research on uncrewed/unmanned systems that could serve as AEWC platforms supporting North American aerospace warning, aerospace control, and maritime warning.
  • Develop a High-Level Operational Concept Graphic (OV-1).
  • Research integration approaches for CBC2 systems to enhance data sharing across crewed and uncrewed platforms. Focus on real-time decision support enabled by scalable cloud infrastructure, improved sensor fusion, resilient networks, AI-enabled support tools, and secure interoperability to achieve a more agile CBC2 capability aligned with future multi-domain operations.
  • esearch integration concepts with the Air Tactical C2 network, including 5th-generation platforms (e.g., CF-35A) and remotely piloted aircraft (e.g., MQ-9B variants).
  • Research integration concepts with the Maritime Tactical C2 network, including multi-mission aircraft (e.g., P-8A), MQ-9B “SeaGuardian,” and maritime surface platforms.
  • Research integration concepts with the Land Tactical C2 network, including command support systems and land platforms.
  • Research integration concepts with the Deployable Operational C2 network.
  • Research integration concepts with enterprise-level networks.
  • Research integration concepts with allied and coalition networks.
  • Research information management and data-distribution infrastructure, including system goals and objectives from an IMD/data perspective.


Deliverables:

  • Meetings with agenda, minutes, RoD, and AIR delivered and approved.
  • Final report delivered once all comments and action items are addressed.
  • Invoices are to be submitted with a breakdown of hours by activity.


Requirements:

  • Must provide references with their resume.
  • Must have a post-secondary diploma or degree in a relevant field such as: Engineering, Systems Integration, Defence Technology, or Information Management
  • Must have experience relevant to the scope of work, such as: Work with F35 mission systems data, Airborne Eectronic Warfare systems, or Special mission remote air vehicle experience.
  • Must have a minimum 24 months of experience, within the last 60 months, conducting research and analysis related to systems integration, airborne C2, ISR platforms, or fifth- and sixth generation defence capabilities. This experience must demonstrate the ability to contribute meaningfully to the development of operational concepts and interoperability assessments in support of defence modernization initiatives.
