Best Friends Adult Day Activities Coordinator - Part-time Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Seeking a part-time activity coordinator to plan fun and meaningful activities for the Best Friends Center, an adult day program for persons with Alzheimer’s disease and other memory loss disorders. The Activity Coordinator:

• Helps plan and conducts program activities designed to meet the interests and physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each participant, in accordance with the comprehensive assessment.
• Sets up and operates equipment; leads games, singing, discussions and other programmed activities; conducts exercise activities, and interacts with participants on an individual basis.
• Works with volunteers as assigned by the Volunteer Coordinator.

Preferred experience: 2 years working with older adults, coordinating activities
