Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and analyzing financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and laws.
• Maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, identify areas for improvement, and optimize financial performance. Interpret financial data and communicate insights to senior management
• Coordinate and facilitate external audits, including the preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Assess and streamline accounting processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Identify opportunities for automation and implementation of accounting software solutions
• Liaise between finance/accounting and other departments, providing financial information and analysis to support cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting. CPA certification preferred
• 3+ years of public accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
