Head of AI – Leading AI Workforce Optimisation Platform


We’re searching for a Head of AI to join a rapidly scaling technology company that’s transforming a major service industry through advanced artificial intelligence, machine learning, and automation.


The company is evolving from operating one of the largest flexible work marketplaces into a full AI-driven workforce management ecosystem. This leadership role is pivotal in defining the AI vision, scaling complex systems, and embedding intelligence across every business function.

Role & Responsibilities


  • Define and execute the strategic AI roadmap, embedding intelligence across product, operations, and growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a world-class team of data scientists and ML engineers.
  • Architect and scale production-level ML systems for predictive analytics, labour optimisation, and real-time forecasting.
  • Build and refine AI infrastructure to enable fast experimentation and model deployment.
  • Research and apply emerging technologies — including reinforcement learning, agentic models, and multimodal systems.
  • Act as the company’s senior AI voice, influencing both internal strategy and external partnerships.



Required Skills and Experience


  • Advanced technical degree (Master’s or PhD preferred) in Computer Science, AI, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Science, AI, or ML, with a proven leadership track record.
  • End-to-end experience taking AI systems from research to production at scale.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and leading ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
  • Engineering foundation with exposure to cloud-based ML infrastructure (AWS, SageMaker, Lambda, Glue, etc.).
  • Experience across multiple relevant domains such as forecasting, optimisation, or computer vision.
