Commissioning Manager BESS (Multi-Site – California)

Job Description:

We’re seeking a Commissioning Manager to lead commissioning activities for several distributed energy projects in California. This role will require site-to-site travel and coordination with project stakeholders, subcontractors, and testing vendors. Ideal candidates have strong commissioning experience with electrical systems, ESS/BESS, or similar infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee commissioning from pre-energization through final acceptance
• Develop and execute commissioning plans and test procedures
• Review documentation, ensure QA compliance, and manage third-party testing
• Work closely with construction, engineering, and safety teams
• Submit final commissioning reports and punchlists
