Labor & Employment Associate – Denver, CO (Hybrid)

Are you a motivated and experienced Labor & Employment attorney looking for a rewarding opportunity with a rapidly growing firm? We are seeking a skilled Associate to join our team in Denver, CO. This is a hybrid role offering a diverse mix of litigation, counseling, and policy work, with significant potential for professional growth and high earning potential.


Compensation: Base salary range from $165K–$190K

Bonus: Uncapped, with realistic potential to reach 1.5x–2x base

Location: Denver, CO

Schedule: Hybrid 3/2 schedule, 1,800 hours billable minimum

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and litigate employment law cases.
  • Provide counseling and advice to employers on a variety of labor and employment matters.
  • Draft pleadings, discovery, and motions.
  • Handle traditional labor law matters (NLRA, collective bargaining).
  • Assist with wage and hour class/collective actions.
  • Take and defend depositions.


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in management-side labor and employment law.
  • Experience in both employment litigation and counseling.
  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Currently admitted to the Colorado bar (highest priority) or possess a UBE score of 276+ (fastest path to CO bar).
  • Self-directed and able to work independently.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Comfortable interacting with high-energy, sales-forward personalities.


Ideal Candidate:

  • Possesses a strong law firm background in labor and employment.
  • Is not seeking an immediate rainmaker or partnership role.


Non-Starters

  • Experience exclusively on the plaintiff-side.
  • Requires significant hand-holding or supervision.
  • One-dimensional practice (transactional vs. litigation)
