Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
The lateral associate will work on antitrust-related legal matters, including advising clients on compliance with antitrust laws, handling investigations, litigation support, and transactional reviews. The role includes conducting legal research, drafting memoranda and pleadings, participating in client meetings, and collaborating with senior attorneys and partners.
Required Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Admission or eligibility to practice law in Washington, D.C.
- Relevant experience in antitrust law practice or related regulatory matters
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills and client focus
Additional Preferred Skills:
- Experience with governmental investigations or litigation in antitrust or competition law
- Prior law firm experience or relevant in-house legal exposure
- Interest or experience in business development
