Job Description:
As a Physical Therapist (PT), you will play a central role in managing and directing the therapeutic care of an assigned patient population. Your key responsibilities involve the complete process of therapeutic care, from initial evaluations and assessments of therapeutic and functional status to the development and implementation of highly individualized care plans. You will provide purposeful and skilled therapeutic interventions consistent with professional ethics and physician orders, working to produce measurable changes in the patient's condition and function. A core component of your mission will be patient and family engagement, including instructing them in the proper use of therapeutic appliances, exercises, and devices to ensure continued progress outside of formal sessions. You are also expected to use your clinical judgment to prioritize your daily caseload and coordinate assignments within the team.
