Med-Surg Ortho Unit
Location: Tallahassee, FL
Salary/Pay Rate: $27.72 - $39.60/hour (commensurate with 5-15+ years of experience). Sign-On Bonus of up to $20,000 available (case-by-case basis). Relocation Assistance available on a case-by-case basis.
Schedule: Day Shift (7a-7p) or Night Shift (7p-7a), Rotating Weekends, Full-Time Onsite. Shift Differential: $3.00 (Nights) and $2.00 (Weekends).
Unit/Specialty: Medical-Surgical Orthopedics (Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:5 - 1:6)

Job Description:
As a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse specializing in Orthopedics, you will be responsible for the comprehensive care and treatment of ill, injured, and recovering adult patients, with a focus on post-operative and acute orthopedic conditions. Utilizing a patient-centered care model, you are expected to autonomously perform clinical assessments and manage treatment protocols. Your key functions will include collecting comprehensive patient data, analyzing assessment results to develop individualized, age-appropriate care plans, and acting as a staunch advocate for patient safety. You will ensure efficient and effective care delivery, provide essential patient and family education regarding medications, procedures, and treatments, and contribute to a phenomenal team culture focused on collaboration and mutual support.
