§ Salary: $50,000 to $65,000 Annually (Plus comprehensive benefits and discretionary year-end bonus structure)

§ Duties

The incoming Legal Assistant will function as a central support pillar for the firm’s transactional attorneys, facilitating the seamless execution of commercial real estate and financing matters. This is a highly technical administrative role demanding mastery of document organization and a proactive approach to transaction management.


Core responsibilities include:

⨖ Coordinating the lifecycle of commercial real estate closings by organizing title commitments, survey results, and multi-party settlement statements.

⨖ Supporting commercial finance transactions through the preparation of loan documents and the filing of UCC financing statements.

⨖ Synthesizing complex lease agreements into concise abstracts and gathering essential transactional due diligence materials.

⨖ Architecting comprehensive closing binders and maintaining both digital and physical repositories for all client files.

⨖ Drafting and formatting professional correspondence, corporate resolutions, and franchise-specific regulatory disclosures.

⨖ Maintaining strict adherence to transaction milestones through diligent calendar management and deadline tracking.

⨖ Orchestrating the flow of documents between lenders, borrowers, and opposing counsel to ensure a frictionless closing process.


§ Qualifications

Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of intellectual curiosity and professional poise suitable for a high-stakes legal environment.

⨖ Juris Doctor in Law from an ABA accredited Law School OR a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year institution.

⨖ Absolute proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically involving advanced formatting in Word and data organization in Excel.

⨖ Exceptional command of the English language, characterized by sophisticated written and verbal communication skills.

⨖ Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, detail-oriented professional services environment.

⨖ A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of client confidentiality and ethical conduct.


§ Skills

While this is an entry-level opportunity, the following attributes will significantly enhance an applicant’s candidacy:

⨖ Prior experience or a demonstrated interest in real estate, finance, or transactional law.

⨖ Familiarity with legal research platforms or digital document management systems.
