§ Salary: $260,000 to $310,000 Base Salary (Plus comprehensive bonus eligibility and premium benefits).

§ Duties:
The successful candidate will join an elite team focused on the protection and recovery of high-value real estate interests. This role is litigation-heavy, demanding a mastery of procedural law and persuasive advocacy. Core responsibilities include:
⨖ Executing all phases of commercial foreclosure proceedings, from initial default notifications through judgment and sale.
⨖ Advocating for creditor interests in complex commercial landlord-tenant disputes, including non-payment and holdover proceedings.
⨖ Drafting and arguing substantive motions, including motions for summary judgment, motions to dismiss, and applications for provisional remedies like receiverships.
⨖ Managing complex discovery and e-discovery workstreams, including the preparation and defense of key witness depositions.
⨖ Conducting deep-dive legal research into evolving property law statutes and New York State court precedents to craft novel legal theories.
§ Qualifications:
The firm is seeking a driven litigator with a focus on real estate and financial services.
⨖ Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school with distinguished academic credentials.
⨖ Active Bar admission in the State of New York.
⨖ Three (3) to four (4) years of commercial litigation experience, with a focus on real estate or creditors' rights preferred.
⨖ Mastery of New York Civil Practice Law and Rules (CPLR) and specific expertise in NY legal citation formatting.
§ Skills:
In addition to the baseline requirements, the ideal candidate will possess:
⨖ Previous experience appearing in New York State Supreme Court or the Commercial Division.
⨖ Advanced proficiency in e-discovery platforms and sophisticated legal research tools.
⨖ A self-motivated professional demeanor with the ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently.
⨖ Exceptional written advocacy skills, demonstrated through a history of successful motion practice.
