§ Salary: $235,000 to $260,000 Base Salary

(Commensurate with experience and technical proficiency)

(Comprehensive benefits package and performance-based incentive structure included)


§ Schedule: Full-time, Direct-Hire, Minimum 1,850 hours annual billed target

§ Duties:

The selected Junior Litigation Associate will be integrated into a dynamic trial team, managing a diverse portfolio of sophisticated commercial disputes from inception through resolution. This role demands a proactive approach to case strategy and the ability to navigate the complexities of high-stakes advocacy in both state and federal jurisdictions.


Core responsibilities include:

⨖ Architecting comprehensive litigation strategies for complex contractual disputes, tort claims, and regulatory challenges.

⨖ Orchestring all phases of the discovery process, including electronically stored information (ESI) management, propounding and responding to written discovery, and executing strategic document reviews.

⨖ Authoring high-level legal memoranda, substantive motions, and appellate briefs that require nuanced legal analysis and persuasive writing.

⨖ Conducting rigorous fact investigations and witness preparation for depositions, hearings, and trial testimony.

⨖ Managing day-to-day matter logistics, including court filings, service of process, and coordinating with expert witnesses to bolster technical arguments.

⨖ Participating in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) proceedings to achieve favorable client outcomes.


§ Qualifications:

Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to excellence and possess the foundational skills necessary to thrive in a demanding, elite-tier practice.

⨖ Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school with a record of high academic achievement.

⨖ Active Bar Membership in the State of California in good standing.

⨖ Two (2) to Three (3) Years of post-qualification experience in civil litigation, preferably within a large or mid-market firm environment.

⨖ Exceptional oral advocacy and written communication skills, with a portfolio showcasing sophisticated legal drafting.

⨖ Proven ability to manage competing deadlines and maintain composure under the pressures of active trial calendars.

The following credentials and attributes are considered advantageous for this specific role:

⨖ Experience in specialized practice areas such as white-collar defense, environmental litigation, or technology-sector disputes.

⨖ Previous experience or a demonstrated interest in pro bono representation and community legal engagement.

⨖ Advanced proficiency in modern legal technology platforms and litigation support software.

⨖ Strong interpersonal skills with a natural aptitude for fostering long-term client relationships and internal team cohesion.
