Salary: $300,000 base salary/$430k+ total compensation
Schedule: Full-time, Direct-Hire, Minimum 1,850 hours annual billed

§ Duties:
The incoming Partner will serve as a lead advocate for a sophisticated clientele, managing complex matrimonial matters that involve significant financial estates and intricate legal challenges. This role is designed for a practitioner who thrives in the courtroom and at the negotiating table, handling the division of high-value assets with precision and discretion.
Core responsibilities include:
⨖ Spearheading high-stakes litigation and trial strategy for complex dissolutions involving large-scale private wealth and diversified asset portfolios.
⨖ Providing expert counsel on the characterization and division of non-traditional assets, including cryptocurrency, closely held business interests, and multi-jurisdictional property holdings.
⨖ Drafting and negotiating intricate prenuptial, postnuptial, and marital settlement agreements for high-net-worth individuals and public figures.
⨖ Managing all aspects of custody disputes, support modifications, and domestic relations appeals with a focus on long-term client stability and ethical resolution.
⨖ Cultivating and maintaining a robust referral network while overseeing the strategic growth of a personal book of business within a supportive, resource-rich environment.
§ Qualifications:
⨖ Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school with a distinguished academic pedigree.
⨖ Active and good-standing membership with the State Bar of California.
⨖ Minimum of ten (10) years of substantive experience exclusively focused on California family law matters.
⨖ Certified Family Law Specialist (CFLS) designation or equivalent professional certification.
⨖ A portable book of business demonstrating consistent annual originations of $500,000 or greater.
⨖ Proven track record of reliability, typically evidenced by tenures of at least three years per previous firm.
§ Skills:
⨖ Fellowship or active participation in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) or prominent local bar leadership roles.
⨖ Exceptional trial advocacy skills, including extensive experience in evidentiary hearings and complex motion practice.
⨖ Sophisticated legal writing capabilities, characterized by the ability to produce persuasive declarations and complex appellate briefs. ⨖ Proficiency in managing the unique tax and financial implications inherent in the dissolution of high-value estates.
⨖ A collaborative mindset with a willingness to mentor junior associates and contribute to the firm's overarching culture of excellence.
