§ Title: Senior Healthcare and Employment Litigation Counsel | Trial Attorney
§ Practice Area: Healthcare Regulatory Disputes, Employment Litigation, and Complex Commercial Advocacy
§ Location: New York, NY (With multi-office flexibility in the Tri-State region)
§ Salary: $170,000 to $225,000 Base Salary (Commensurate with experience, plus discretionary year-end performance incentives, merit-based increases, and origination credits. § Schedule: Full-time, Direct-Hire, Minimum 1,850 hours annual billed target

§ Duties: The incoming Senior Trial Attorney will direct and manage a sophisticated portfolio of high-stakes controversies, focusing primarily on healthcare law and employment disputes. This individual will steer complex matters autonomously from their initial inception through final resolution, administrative adjudication, or appellate review.
Daily obligations include: ⨖ Formulating and executing comprehensive defense and litigation strategies for corporate and institutional entities. ⨖ Drafting and arguing complex motions, substantive pleadings, master discovery demands, and responses before state and federal jurisdictions. ⨖ Orchestrating, conducting, and defending critical depositions of key witnesses, medical professionals, and corporate representatives. ⨖ Representing institutional clients as lead or co-counsel in court proceedings, binding arbitrations, and administrative agency hearings. ⨖ Providing strategic cross-functional support to interconnected practice groups on multi-faceted business disputes. ⨖ Spearheading internal process improvements and operational optimizations within the litigation department to enhance client delivery.
§ Qualifications: Candidates must meet the following mandatory requirements to be considered for this elite advocacy role: ⨖ Juris Doctor degree awarded by a law school accredited by the American Bar Association. ⨖ Active, unrestricted admission to the New Jersey State Bar, with an active admission or immediate willingness to obtain admission to the New York State Bar. ⨖ Seven or more years of substantive experience handling complex commercial litigation, with a distinct emphasis on healthcare or employment matters within a sophisticated legal environment. ⨖ Documented first- or second-chair trial experience, including extensive experience taking and defending depositions and leading courtroom arguments. ⨖ Superb verbal articulation, persuasive brief writing, advanced negotiation capability, and meticulous analytical skills.
