Location:

Roanoke, Virginia area


Schedule:

  • Thurs–Sat Nights (3x12s)
  • Sat–Mon Nights (3x12s)
  • Nights (general)
  • Weekends, Day/Evening (RPT) – Regular Part-Time


Hourly Rate & Annual Salary:

$28–$40+ per hour (Full-Time): $60,000 to $85,00 per year

About the Facility:

These roles are located in Roanoke, VA, a city known for its strong healthcare infrastructure and quality of life. The hiring facility is likely part of a larger hospital or imaging system, committed to diagnostic excellence, patient-centered care, and cutting-edge imaging technology.


Job Duties:

  • Operate radiologic equipment to perform diagnostic imaging exams
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed (ALARA, patient shielding, etc.)
  • Assist physicians with real-time imaging during procedures when required
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Communicate clearly with patients and team members
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures with professionalism and care


Qualifications:

  • ARRT Certification (Registered Radiologic Technologist)
  • Virginia Radiologic Technologist License
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • BLS Certification (AHA)
  • 1+ years of hospital or clinical imaging experience preferred
  • Availability for assigned shift and flexible scheduling (weekends/nights)


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in a trauma or emergency department setting
  • Cross-trained in CT or other modalities
  • Strong patient communication and positioning skills
  • Experience using PACS and EMR systems
  • Familiarity with Siemens, GE, or Philips imaging systems
