Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
Unit: Internal Medicine Surgery
Location: Woodhull Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY
Shift: Days (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | 37.5 Hours/Week
Compensation: $150,000/year
Facility: Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY 11206
Schedule:
- 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
- 37.5 hours per week/7.5 hours per day
- No Oncall Required
- +$1 per hour for weekends/+ $1.50 per hour for holidays

- Lead with Excellence: Oversee daily operations for the surgical nursing team, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety.

- Drive Efficiency: Manage departmental workflows and resources to optimize patient outcomes in a high-volume, meaningful environment.
- Collaborate: Work closely with the Director of Nursing and surgical staff to implement best practices and maintain regulatory compliance.

Education: One of the following prerequisites
- Master’s Degree in Nursing + 5 years of nursing experience (including 3 years in a supervisory or teaching role).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing + 6 years of nursing experience (including 4 years in a supervisory or teaching role).
Active New York State RN License is required.
Expertise in Maternal Child Health preferably
