About Our Client

ErthSearch is working with PingThings, an innovative energy technology company that builds PredictiveGrid, a high-frequency, fleet-scale time-series intelligence platform. Backed by the U.S. Department of Energy and venture capital, they process petabytes of sensor data with nanosecond precision for major transmission utilities, ISOs, and research institutions across North America.

The Role

As a Technical Project Manager, you will serve as the connective tissue between customers, engineering, and data science teams to turn technically deep deployments into predictable, well-run programs. You will own end-to-end delivery on both sides of the business, overseeing customer-facing platform rollouts as well as the internal engineering sprint planning and dependency management that makes them succeed. Operating in a fully remote environment, you will also actively leverage and experiment with AI as a multiplier for planning, documentation, and risk tracking.

Qualifications & Skills

Required

  • Experienced in managing complex technical projects involving both customer-facing delivery and internal software development.
  • Strong understanding of modern data platforms, including cloud infrastructure, containers, APIs, and data pipelines.
  • Skilled in project management methodologies, process improvement, and creating scalable deployment playbooks.
  • Excellent communicator with experience engaging executives, coordinating technical and business stakeholders, and delivering clear status updates.
  • Able to thrive in ambiguous, highly technical environments while proactively managing timelines, milestones, and risks.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in energy, utilities, power grid, critical infrastructure, or industrial sectors.
  • Familiarity with high-frequency time-series data, large-scale sensor networks, and advanced data analytics platforms.
  • Understanding of procurement, compliance, and project delivery processes in regulated industries or public-sector environments.
  • Strong interest in leveraging AI tools to improve collaboration, productivity, and operational workflows.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation package including a commission structure and the ability to earn equity.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) to support work-life balance.
  • Significant opportunities for career advancement within a scaling technology company.

Note

[visa situation] This role requires US-Working Rights - the company is unable to sponsor visa transfers.
