Gold Coast QLD | Full-time Solar & Battery Installer (Electrician)

WHAT THIS ROLE IS:

A senior field-based installation role within a structured, 4.9-star rated solar and battery company operating across the Gold Coast and South East Queensland.

This is a full-time PAYG appointment for a qualified Electrician with proven residential solar and battery experience, capable of running installations independently within a disciplined operations framework.

You will deliver compliant, high-quality solar PV and battery installations while upholding strict Australian Standards and SAA requirements.

Your workmanship will directly influence audit outcomes, brand reputation, and long-term client retention.

WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT:

It is not subcontract labour.

It is not a chaotic “panel churning” operation without structure.

It is not suited to someone who requires constant supervision or cuts corners on compliance.

THE APPOINTMENT.

Our client operates a structured in-house retail and installation model, holding its own Electrical Contractor Licence and maintaining strong compliance and aftercare systems.

The pipeline is consistent.

The standards are clear.

The support systems are in place.

Now, with continued growth across SE QLD, they are seeking a Solar & Battery Installer who can step in, run jobs end-to-end, and maintain presentation and compliance standards without compromise.

This role requires someone who treats every install as a long-term brand asset, not a short-term transaction.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES.

You will be trusted to:

• Lead residential solar PV installations from start to completion.
• Install and commission battery storage systems.
• Run jobs independently while working within company compliance frameworks.
• Ensure all works comply with Australian Standards and SAA requirements.
• Maintain exceptional cable management and on-site presentation.
• Conduct system testing and commissioning accurately.
• Complete required documentation with precision.
• Maintain clean, organised worksites and professional client interaction.

This is an outcomes-led technical role.

Quality and compliance carry equal weight to speed.

WHAT THIS ROLE REQUIRES.

This role will suit you if you:

• Hold a current Electrical Licence.
• Have proven experience installing residential solar PV systems.
• Have essential battery installation experience.
• Hold, or are eligible for, SAA accreditation.
• Bring strong knowledge of AS/NZS standards.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently with high attention to detail.
• Are reliable, structured, and safety-focused.

This role requires technical precision without ego.

WHAT’S ON OFFER.

• Full-time PAYG employment.
• $150,000 base salary plus weekly performance and quality bonuses.
• Realistic OTE of $170,000–$190,000.
• Superannuation paid on top.
• 4 weeks annual leave and paid public holidays.
• 10 RDOs per year (February to November).
• Company vehicle for work use.
