Construction Project Engineer II

As a Project Engineer II, you’ll work alongside experienced leaders to manage bid packages, review submittals, and ensure materials arrive on time—all while sharpening your skills in project administration and subcontract negotiation.


This is a full-time, on-site position in Fishers, IN with Envoy. 



What you’ll do

  1. Prepare contracts and scopes of work with Project Management.
  2. Review subcontractors' schedule of values for accuracy.
  3. Negotiate and review change orders for scope and cost validity.
  4. Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction activities.
  5. Maintain cost tracking reports, including buyout costs, contingencies, and GMP adjustments.


  • Track and manage subcontractor start-up, product data, shop drawings, submittals, and approvals.
  • Use Procore to track change orders and ensure documentation compliance.
  • Investigate site issues and encourage innovative problem-solving approaches.
  • Order job site needs materials and temporary facilities.
  • Attend and document construction, design, and constructability review meetings.
  • Become familiar with contract types and general conditions.

Experience Needed:

  • BS in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a construction environment.
  • Experience working in a Project Coordinator and/or Project Engineer role is preferred.
  • Proficient in Gmail, Google Drive, and various Google Apps: Procore experience is required.
  • Must pass a criminal background check, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation.
