Financial Advisor – Kent (Hybrid Working)

We are currently working with an established, independent financial planning firm in North West Kent that is looking to appoint an experienced Chartered Financial Advisor. This is a hybrid role offering a mix of remote and office-based work, with the flexibility and autonomy to manage your client relationships while being supported by a small, dedicated team.

The Role:

As a Financial Advisor, you'll be responsible for delivering holistic, independent financial planning services to a loyal and growing client base. You'll meet clients to understand their goals, provide tailored advice across pensions, investments, retirement, and estate planning, and ensure long-term financial security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalised financial planning and wealth management advice
  • Create and manage tailored retirement and investment plans
  • Advise clients on inheritance tax and estate planning strategies
  • Analyse financial data and market trends to inform client portfolios
  • Build long-term relationships based on trust, transparency, and results
  • Stay current with market developments and regulatory changes

What You’ll Need:

  • Advanced Diploma (Level 6), Ideally
  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (minimum requirement)
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a competent Financial Adviser
  • Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, tax, and estate planning
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team
