Simulator Operator and Commissioning Engineer


ARCA is partnered with a fast-growing engineering company revolutionising the automotive and motorsport driving simulator market with its disruptive motion simulation technology. Due to capability growth, they're looking to hire a Simulator Operater and Commissioning Engineer.


About the Role:

This role combines simulator operation with on-site customer commissioning and technical support. Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating internal demonstrator and development systems
  • Planning and executing on-site commissioning for customer simulators
  • Supporting customers in optimising their simulator usage
  • Exploring and evaluating new technologies for integration
  • Developing simulation scenarios to showcase system capabilities


Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Background in Engineering, Physics, Maths, or Computer Science
  • Independent, methodical problem-solver with strong planning skills
  • Proficient with computer systems and networks (preferred)
  • Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink (preferred)
  • Knowledge of driving simulators and/or vehicle dynamics (preferred)
