Event Customer Service Representative (5-Day Contract)


Location: Salinas Fairgrounds


Dates: July 15-19, 2026


Pay: $20/hour


Position Type: Temporary / Event Contract


About the Role


We’re hiring outgoing Customer Service Representatives to support a marketing promotions team during a 5-day event at the Salinas Fairgrounds.

In this role, you’ll help introduce guests to a new Bay Area casino launch, distribute promotional materials and giveaways, and assist attendees with Players Card registrations using an iPad.

This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with people in a fast-paced event environment.


Responsibilities

  • Welcome and engage event attendees
  • Distribute promotional materials and giveaways
  • Provide basic information about the casino Players Card program
  • Assist guests with registration using an iPad
  • Represent the promotions team in a professional and friendly manner


Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods
  • Comfortable using an iPad
  • Able to work all 5 event days (July 15–19)
  • Must pass a standard background check


Preferred Experience (Not Required)

  • Event staff
  • Brand ambassador
  • Trade show support
  • Promotions or customer-facing roles
  • Retail or hospitality experience
