About the Role:

Our client, one of the top SBA lenders in the U.S., is expanding its nationwide team of Business Development Officers. This is a full-time, remote position for SBA loan originators who have a proven track record of funding $20MM+ annually. The right candidate has a hunter mentality, actively develops their own referral network, and is experienced in originating SBA 7(a) and 504 loans.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Originate SBA 7(a), SBA 504, and other commercial loans
  • Build and maintain relationships with brokers, CPAs, and referral partners
  • Manage deals through the full loan lifecycle with credit and operations support
  • Track and manage deal flow using Salesforce or other CRM tools
  • Consistently meet or exceed production goals
  • Collaborate with internal leadership to refine sales and marketing strategy


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of SBA or commercial lending experience
  • Proven production of $20MM+ per year in SBA loans (7a and/or 504)
  • Strong understanding of credit, loan structuring, and underwriting processes
  • Active referral network strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Must be based outside of California and Texas
