Our client, a fast-growing startup at the intersection of AI and robotics, is transforming the future of intelligent automation. As they continue to scale, they’re seeking a People Operations/Payroll Partner who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is excited to help build and refine the people function while performing it. This is a hands-on, visible role supporting a highly technical and mission-driven team.
What You Will Do:
- Own day-to-day HR operations with an emphasis on accuracy, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.
- Manage and optimize the HRIS—including assisting with conversions, implementations, and ensuring clean, compliant data.
- Lead payroll processing, audits, and reporting in partnership with Finance.
- Administer and support benefits programs, working with brokers and vendors to resolve employee inquiries quickly and professionally.
- Develop and document processes and SOPs to drive efficiency and scalability as the company grows.
- Provide as-needed support with immigration case coordination and recruiting logistics.
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers—fielding questions, solving problems, and creating a positive employee experience every day.
What We Are Looking For:
- Tech-savvy and confident learning new systems; experience with HRIS (HiBob, ADP, UKG, or similar) strongly preferred.
- Adaptable and proactive, comfortable shifting gears and jumping in wherever help is needed.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with a bias for follow-through and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize processes while maintaining compliance and empathy.
- Experience supporting payroll, benefits, and HRIS in a scaling, start-up, or high-growth environment.
- Collaborative and approachable communication style; enjoys partnering across HR, Finance, and Operations.

Compensation: $120,000 - $130,000 annually
