We are currently in search of a Development Manager for a housing & community development nonprofit based in New York City. This is a part-time, temporary position with an hourly rate of $30/hr. This role is expected to begin in early February.


ORGANIZATION TYPE: Housing & Community Development Nonprofit

LOCATION: Remote

POSITION TITLE: Development Manager, Corporate Partnerships and Events

SCHEDULE: Part-time, 20 hours per week (to start)

DURATION: Ongoing temp

HOURLY RATE: $30/hr


Is This Your Dream Job? The Development Manager will assist the organization's mission by managing corporate donors and partners, leading engagement events, and collaborating with leadership and board members to grow revenue and strengthen long term partnerships.


Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in nonprofit development, corporate partnerships, events, or related fundraising roles
  • Proven experience managing a large and complex donor portfolio and leading fundraising events
  • Experience working collaboratively with senior leadership, board members, and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with Raiser's Edge, MS Outlook, Sharepoint, and Teams


How You Will Spend Your Day:


Corporate Fundraising

  • Develop and implement a Corporate Giving Strategy focused on corporate engagement.
  • Manage inquiries, MOUs, and sponsorship agreements for sponsors


Signature Events and Golf Outing Management

  • Support all aspects of the organization's annual golf outing.
  • Manage corporate solicitation, relationships, and stewardship for sponsors and participants
  • Collaborate with teams and partners to meet fundraising and engagement goals
  • Track event performance and produce post-event reports and communications


Communications and Reporting

  • Produce proposals, MOUs, sponsorship materials, donor communications, and impact reports
  • Ensure timely, accurate reporting that highlights impact and donor alignment
