We are currently in search of a Fundraiser for a Child Advocacy Center based in Newark, NJ. This is a part-time, temp-to-perm position with an anticipated hourly rate between $23-$26/hr commensurate on experience. This role is expected to begin ASAP.

ORGANIZATION TYPE: Child Advocacy Center

LOCATION: On-Site with some flexibility in Newark, NJ

POSITION TITLE: Fundraiser

SCHEDULE: Part-time, 20 hours per week between the hours of 9am-5pm

DURATION: Temporary to permanent

HOURLY RATE: $23-$26/hour

Is This Your Dream Job? The Fundraiser will support the Development Team with donor outreach, assisting with events and end-of-year campaigns, create communications such as flyers, use email marketing platforms, and provide general support for all fundraising activities.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• 2+ years of Fundraising/Development experience
• Familiar with Canva or similar design software
• Experienced with CRM databases (DonorPerfect, etc)
• Experienced with email marketing platforms (ConstantContact, etc.)
• Strong event support experience (smaller fundraising events, end of year campaigns)
• Proactive and able to work independently

How You Will Spend Your Day:

• Drafting communications (flyers, email marketing campaigns)
• Calling/contacting venues
• Keeping donor records updated
• General fundraising event support as needed
• Supporting the development team as needed
