 A mission-driven nonprofit is seeking a Part-time Annual Fund Associate. The Annual Fund Associate supports the museum’s fundraising efforts by managing and growing individual donor support through the annual fund. This is an in-person, 2 days/week, Part-time role based in New York.


ORGANIZATION: Museum

LOCATION: In person - Chelsea, Manhattan

POSITION TITLE: Annual Fund Associate

SCHEDULE: 20 hrs/week, 2 days in person, Wednesday - Thursday  

DURATION: Temporary- 4 months

Pay- $26/hr - $32/hr (depending on experience)

This role plays a key part in donor engagement, email campaigns, editing, and database management, helping to ensure a strong and sustainable base of philanthropic support.


 Our Ideal Candidate:

  • 2–3 years of nonprofit fundraising or development experience
  • Experience with donor databases/CRMs (e.g., Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce, CiviCRM)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience with annual funds.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Interest in arts, culture, or museum work preferred


How You Will Spend Your Day:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the annual fund, email campaigns, and donor acknowledgments
  • Maintain and update donor records in the CRM/database to ensure accuracy and integrity
  • Assist with donor communications, including appeals, email campaigns, and stewardship materials
  • Track fundraising progress and generate reports on annual fund performance
  • Support donor cultivation and stewardship efforts, including events and outreach
  • Collaborate with development and communications teams on fundraising strategies and campaigns
