We are currently in search of a Donor Database Manager for a Faith-Based Youth Organization. The position is On-Site (some remote flexibility) in Parkesburg, PA. This is a part-time, temporary position.

 

ORGANIZATION TYPE: Faith-Based Youth Organization

LOCATION: Parkesburg, PA (2-3 days in office)

POSITION TITLE: Donor Database Manager

SCHEDULE: 20 hours/week

DURATION: Temporary (potential to be temporary-to-permanent)

HOURLY RATE: $26.00 - $28.00

The Donor Database Manager will maintain donor records for the organization through ensuring the accuracy of donor data, streamlining database processes, and supporting fundraising efforts with data-driven insights. If you have experience with managing databases and are interested in making an impact with a growing nonprofit, then this is the role for you!

 

Our Ideal Candidate:

·       2-4 years of experience in a nonprofit development role

·       Prior experience working with CRMs required – DonorPerfect is a plus

·       Experience handling donor acknowledgement/thank you letters

·       Prior experience working with accounting departments for donor reconciliation

·       Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

·       Excellent organizational and time management skills

·       Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret donor data

·       Faith-based background a plus

 

How You Will Spend Your Day:

1. Donor Database Management

·       Accurately record and update donor information, gifts, pledges, and contact details in DonorPerfect.

·       Conduct regular audits to maintain data integrity and eliminate duplicates.

2. Gift Processing and Acknowledgment

·       Record and track donations across all channels (online, offline, in-kind).

·       Generate and distribute donor acknowledgment letters and tax receipts.         

3. Reporting and Analytics

·       Develop customized reports and dashboards to monitor giving patterns, donor engagement, and fundraising performance.

·       Provide actionable insights to identify trends and areas for growth.

4. Database Optimization

·       Maintain and enhance coding structures, gift categories, and campaign tracking for improved donor segmentation and communication.

·       Collaborate with the development team to align database functionality with fundraising campaigns and donor strategies.

5. Administrative Support

·       Collaborate with the development team to provide customized reports and mailing lists for grants, campaigns, mailings, etc. 

·       Provide administrative support to the executive development team.

·       Collaborate with the development team to develop and implement donor stewardship strategies (handwritten notes, welcome packets, etc).

·       Mail merge letter/labels for event/campaign mailings.
