We are seeking a full-time Donor Customer Service Associate for a temporary role. Reporting to the Membership Manager. This individual will play a key role in building and maintaining meaningful relationships with donors, ensuring their contributions are acknowledged and appreciated while supporting broader fundraising goals. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, has extensive experience with Raiser’s Edge, and is passionate about donor stewardship. This is a remote, full-time temporary role. The anticipated start date for this role is 10/06/25.

LOCATION: Remote

POSITION TITLE: Donor Customer Service Associate.

SCHEDULE: 35-40 hours/week - remote 

DURATION: Temporary  

Pay- $23/hr- $28/hr 


Is This Your Dream Job? The Donor Customer Service Associate will work closely with the Development and Membership team to implement effective donor database management with a particular focus on donor relationship cultivation and event support. 


 Our Ideal Candidate:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience using Raiser’s Edge (NXT and/or database view).
  • 2+ years of experience in donor relations, fundraising, or a similar customer-facing role within a nonprofit or philanthropic organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and engaging phone manner.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when managing data and handling donor records.
  • High degree of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience working in a remote setting.


How You Will Spend Your Day:


Donor Relations & Stewardship-

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for donors via phone, email, and other channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing donors to foster long-term engagement and loyalty.
  • Respond to donor inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Make outbound calls to thank donors, provide updates, and cultivate ongoing support.

Database & Gift Management-

  • Manage and maintain donor records in Raiser’s Edge, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Process donations, generate acknowledgment letters, and maintain gift documentation.
  • Run queries, exports, and reports in Raiser’s Edge for tracking and analysis purposes.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy policies and internal data standards.


Event Support-

  • Assist in the planning and execution of donor-focused events (e.g., appreciation events, galas, fundraising campaigns).
  • Coordinate donor communications related to events, including invitations, RSVPs, and follow-ups.
  • Provide on-site or virtual event support as needed.
