Senior Director, New Business Sales – EMEA


Are you a strategic sales leader with a track record of scaling high-performing teams in fast-paced SaaS environments? If so, one of Blackmere's international technology clients is looking for a Senior Director of New Business Sales (EMEA) to help power their next phase of international expansion.


This is not a maintenance role. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity to build, drive, and scale a mid-market new logo acquisition motion across the UK and broader EMEA region. You’ll lead a talented group of Sales Managers and their teams of Account Executives, bringing operational discipline, leadership depth, and growth-minded strategy to one of the company’s most important international revenue segments.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and scale a high-performing team of Sales Managers and their Mid-Market New Business Account Executives across the EMEA region.
  • Design and execute the EMEA new business sales strategy, aligned with aggressive international growth goals.
  • Drive excellence throughout the full sales cycle — from outbound prospecting to closing — with a focus on velocity, quality, and customer fit.
  • Instill strong forecasting accuracy, pipeline health, and deal inspection rhythms to build predictable, repeatable results.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Pre-Sales, and Account Management to ensure seamless handoffs and aligned GTM strategies.
  • Cultivate a high-performance, consultative sales culture that prioritizes long-term customer success.
  • Develop the next generation of sales leadership through coaching frameworks, performance plans, and succession development.
  • Represent the organization with confidence in executive-level customer meetings and regional engagements.


What You Bring to the Table

  • 10+ years of SaaS sales experience, with 5+ years leading sales managers and teams in a net-new business context.
  • Proven success driving new logo acquisition in the mid-market segment across diverse European geographies.
  • Deep operational sales discipline – from forecast accuracy to deal rigor.
  • Experience leading in a high-volume, consultative sales environment.
  • Exposure to selling SaaS products that integrate with ERP systems – Oracle knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the cultural and commercial dynamics across multiple European markets.
  • An executive presence that builds trust at the C-level.
  • A strategic mindset backed by hands-on execution ability – you know when to lead from the front and when to scale through others.
  • Experience in tax compliance, regulatory tech, or other high-complexity SaaS fields is a plus – but not required.
