Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Business Enterprise Architect position! This is a 6+ months contract and will be remote in the United States. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Translate business strategy into capability maps, value stream models, and initiative roadmaps that align with enterprise objectives and drive measurable business outcomes
• Develop and maintain enterprise business architecture artifacts including capability maps (L1-L3), value stream maps, and current-state/target-state operating models
• Partner with Technology domain leadership and Master Architects to provide consultation services on strategic decision-making, technology delivery, and operational efficiency improvements
• Identify capability gaps and prioritize investment opportunities across the enterprise, supporting portfolio planning and initiative prioritization with fact-based recommendations
• Collaborate with Enterprise, Solution, and Data Architects to ensure business intent is reflected in technical solution designs and architecture decisions
• Research and apply emerging technologies and industry trends to assess their potential impact on technology domains and inform architectural roadmap planning
• Facilitate executive-level stakeholder alignment by creating visualization models, capability heatmaps, gap analyses, and architecture governance materials for S1/S2 leadership meetings
• Establish and enforce business architecture standards, frameworks, and patterns to ensure traceability from strategy through execution and promote reuse of existing technical investments

What You'll Need to Have:

• 10+ years of experience in business architecture, enterprise architecture, strategy consulting, or business transformation roles within large, complex enterprises
• Demonstrated expertise building business architecture artifacts including capability maps, value streams, operating models, and architecture roadmaps aligned to strategic objectives
• Strong knowledge of Business Architecture Guild/BIZBOK concepts, enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, FEAF), and operating model design principles
• Experience working with Cloud technologies, Agile delivery environments, and understanding of SDLC and technology delivery lifecycle alignment
• Financial services industry experience with understanding of banking structure, regulations, and risk considerations strongly preferred
• Proven ability to influence and facilitate alignment across executives, product teams, and delivery teams without direct authority
• Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into executive-ready strategy artifacts and business-driven requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related field (Master's preferred); certifications such as Certified Business Architect (CBA®) or TOGAF are a plus

Pay Range: $90 - $100/hr
