POSITION SUMMARY:

Join the Roberts Filter Group as a CNC Machine Engineer & Programmer (On-Site / Coatesville, PA), where you'll play a pivotal role in our dynamic fabrication facility. In this position, you won’t just operate CNC laser machines — you’ll take full ownership of programming, setting up, and optimizing their performance. This is an opportunity to leverage your technical expertise in CNC programming while actively driving production efficiency and quality.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, program, and optimize CNC operations for precision manufacturing.
  • Set up, program, and operate CNC laser machines to produce specified work products.
  • Review mechanical/technical drawings, make necessary adjustments, and ensure accurate cutting and processing.
  • Manage and adhere to production job schedules while maintaining a fast-paced, efficient workflow.
  • Collaborate with a skilled team to innovate and enhance fabrication processes.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, calibrate, and clean CNC laser machines, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Perform work on other industrial machines, such as Waterjet, Punch Press, and Brake, as needed.
  • Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet or exceed quality standards.
  • Follow facility and machine safety protocols at all times.


ESSENTIAL SKILLS: 

  • Blueprint reading.
  • Laser operation and maintenance.
  • Tolerance Interpretation.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Demonstrated adherence to facility safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to use tape measures, micrometers, and digital and dial calipers.
  • Flexibility to perform shift work and overtime when needed.
  • Proven punctuality and attendance record.

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE:

  • 1+ year experience working with CNC machines in a manufacturing or industrial environment. CNC laser experience is a plus.
  • Ability to read mechanical and technical blueprints and documents
  • Prior experience with measuring devices such as calipers and micrometers
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday 6:00am-2:30pm shift plus overtime when needed
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • CAD experience a plus
  • Proven record of regular attendance and punctuality
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle physical workload
