Position Overview:

The Chief Financial Officer will provide overall leadership for the company’s financial strategy, infrastructure, and day-to-day finance operations. As a trusted advisor to senior leadership, this individual will help guide business performance, strengthen financial discipline, and support continued growth initiatives. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, with the ability to lead at a high level while remaining closely involved in execution, process improvement, and operational decision-making.


Employment Type: Full-Time

Work Arrangement: Fully In-Office (Mon-Fri)

Base Salary: $260k - $280k


Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct all areas of finance, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, tax, audit, compliance, and reporting.
  • Lead the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes, establishing metrics to monitor performance and drive accountability.
  • Oversee cash management, liquidity planning, lender relationships, debt obligations, and related covenant requirements.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory standards, and external audit requirements.
  • Partner with business leaders to improve profitability, evaluate pricing, and enhance operational performance across the organization.
  • Manage working capital performance, including oversight of billing, collections, receivables, and cash conversion initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve overall financial efficiency.
  • Evaluate and enhance systems, reporting tools, and automation capabilities to support scale and better decision-making.
  • Play a key role in strategic initiatives such as acquisitions, refinancing efforts, and broader capital planning activities.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance team and related functional leaders.
  • Oversee key external relationships, including banks, auditors, advisors, vendors, and other strategic partners.


Qualifications:

  • 10-15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including prior CFO or equivalent senior finance leadership roles.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Strong background in banking relationships, debt management, refinancing, and capital planning.
  • Demonstrated success improving cash flow, enhancing profitability, reducing expenses, and driving operational efficiencies.
  • Experience leading finance organizations within middle-market, entrepreneurial, or growth-oriented companies.
  • Proven ability to implement new systems, automate processes, and improve reporting capabilities.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on leadership style and the ability to operate effectively at both executive and tactical levels.
