Metrics Recruitment is seeking a Senior Ecosystem Success Lead that will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow and support a blockchain ecosystem, with a strong focus on driving the adoption and growth of DeFi protocols. This role will work closely with the Growth & Ecosystem team to identify, nurture, and support key ecosystem partners, including developers, validators, and infrastructure providers, with a particular emphasis on DeFi projects at all stages of development. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the blockchain industry, a proven track record of success in building and managing ecosystems, and extensive experience in growing DeFi protocols and driving adoption.

Metrics for Success: TVL, Trading Volume, Derivatives Volumes

Milestones: Successful launch and growth of multiple DeFi projects, significant increases in TVL, trading volume, and derivatives volume

End-to-End Projects: Lead the growth of the DeFi ecosystem, including supporting projects at pre-launch, launch, and TGE stages, and driving overall TVL, trading volume, and derivatives volume growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to drive ecosystem growth, with a strong focus on DeFi project success at all stages of development
- Identify, nurture, and manage key ecosystem partners, ensuring they have the necessary resources, support, and guidance to thrive
- Act as the voice of partners within the organization, collaborating with Product, Partnerships, and Marketing to prioritize partner needs and feedback
- Implement scalable programs and initiatives to accelerate ecosystem expansion and continuously drive value for partners and end users
- Track, analyze, and report on ecosystem initiatives, leveraging metrics to measure success and inform strategic adjustments
- Represent the organization at industry events and conferences, staying ahead of blockchain and DeFi trends to inform ecosystem strategies
Basic Qualifications
- Experience working with web3 start-ups and/or scale-ups in an accelerator, incubator, VC, blockchain foundation, or other relevant entity
- Experience in crypto infrastructure, with a proven track record of driving DeFi protocol growth and adoption
- Demonstrated ability to generate revenue through cross-selling, up-selling, and strategic ecosystem growth initiatives
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with experience managing top-tier accounts and executive-level stakeholders
- Deep understanding of web3 startups, blockchain ecosystems, and DApp landscapes, with hands-on experience in accelerators, VCs, or blockchain foundations
- Exceptional ability to develop and execute client-focused strategies, track performance, and drive measurable results
- Operational, organizational, and project management skills
- Ability to work independently, with strong ownership and accountability
