Finance Supervisor - Move Beyond the Analyst Level in a Role that Blends Data, FP&A and Leadership
Omaha, NE
Apply for this job

We're excited to partner with one of Omaha's most respected organizations on a Finance Supervisor search. This is the type of company that people hope to get their foot in the door with and spend the next 10-20 years building a successful career. The organization has an outstanding reputation, a collaborative culture, and a leadership team that genuinely values the contributions of its Finance department.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys living at the intersection of data and finance. Maybe you've spent the last few years in an analyst role where 90% of your day revolves around extracting data, validating information, and responding to reporting requests. You've become the person others rely on when they need answers. At the same time, you've found yourself missing some of the traditional Finance responsibilities that originally attracted you to the profession - forecasting, modeling, budgeting, variance analysis, and helping leaders make strategic decisions.

If that's you, this opportunity offers the best of both worlds.

The team is looking for someone who can not only work with data but also tell the story behind it. You're naturally curious and enjoy digging deeper when something doesn't look right. You don't simply hand someone a report and move on - you explain what the numbers mean, identify trends, and help stakeholders understand the "why" behind the results. Strong communication skills are critical because you'll regularly interact with leaders across the organization and present information that influences decision-making.

This position also offers a great leadership opportunity for someone ready for the next step in their career. You'll coach and mentor an analyst and intern while serving as the project manager for a highly visible process that supports both internal and external stakeholders. The team is open to a high-potential professional who has demonstrated leadership qualities and is eager to grow into a people leadership role.

The ideal candidate will bring 3-5 years of Finance, FP&A, Business Analytics, or related experience, strong Excel, SQL, and analytical skills, and the confidence to communicate findings to a variety of audiences. Experience working with large data sets and translating information into actionable business insights will set you apart.

This is one of the most competitive opportunities we've seen in recent months. Interviews will begin shortly, so if you're interested in learning more, reach out today.
