Mitigation Manager – Job Description
Position Information

· Salary Range: $90,000 – $100,000 annually, plus quarterly commissions (see commission structure)

Position Summary
· The Mitigation Manager is responsible for overseeing all emergency mitigation services (EMS) and ensuring the successful delivery of water, fire, mold, and related services to residential and commercial clients. This role focuses on operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, team leadership, and the growth of key referral relationships. The Mitigation Manager plays a critical role in upholding the company’s reputation for quality and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
· Direct and manage all EMS and mitigation operations
· Conduct and lead daily “Stand To” team meetings
· Oversee fleet operations and mitigation equipment/consumables inventory
· Monitor team and project performance, resolve operational challenges proactively
· Train, mentor, and manage mitigation technicians and support staff
· Coordinate administrative functions of the mitigation department
· Evaluate project feasibility based on scope and insurance coverage
· Perform job site inspections, establish scope of work, and confirm with clients/adjusters
· Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, and development of mitigation personnel and subcontractors
· Ensure quality assurance across all mitigation projects.

· Respond to client concerns and ensure timely resolution
· Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance adjusters, clients, and referral sources
· Review all mitigation reports (MICA) to ensure accuracy
· Represent the company at industry functions and networking events
· Invoice all EMS projects and ensure proper documentation
Required Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in mitigation or related field
Preferred Qualifications
· 2–7 years of experience as a Mitigation Project Manager or in the insurance restoration industry
· IICRC certifications (Water, Fire, Mold)
· Project Management certifications or training

· Ability to work in fast-paced and high-pressure environments
· MICA& DASH proficiency
Supervisory Responsibilities
· Direct supervision of mitigation technicians, subcontractors, and vendor partners
Work Environment & Physical Demands
· Work in office, residential, and commercial job sites
· Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, or exposure to machinery and tools
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds
Travel Requirements
· Limited travel outside of immediate service area may be required
Compensation & Benefits
· Salary: $90,000 – $100,000 based on experience
· Commissions: Quarterly incentive structure (see attached)
